More about Jenna

Her passion for contemporary jewellery design is driven by her love of colour, inspiring her bold and vibrant collections. This fascination comes from a lifelong appreciation of her natural surroundings, from lush Scottish landscapes and tranquil seascapes to the vivid hues and patterns found in flora and fauna.

Graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 2009, Jenna went on to work for several large Scottish Jewellery companies as a regional Visual Merchandiser. In 2012, she and her partner Thomas opened Tangled Up In Blue, a contemporary craft boutique and studio in the beautiful Perthshire town of Crieff, where they showcased the works of more than 90 contemporary makers and designers, proudly committed to promoting quality Scottish products for over six years.

Since 2016 Jenna's ran regular jewellery making workshops, finding a new passion for teaching and sharing her knowledge of her craft with students of all ages. In December 2019 she relocated to a bright and airy studio within the Creative Exchange situated in the heart of Perth. This stunning renovation which is the former St John's Primary School is run by WASPS and houses over 30 artists, designers, makers and creative businesses. Many of the artists provide workshops and creative classes to the public.

Jenna also taught at the Central Scotland School of Jewellery in Dunblane where she co-tutored on a regular basis, teaching students of all levels in a wide range of jewellery making techniques.

In the Summer of 2023, Jenna decided to embark on a brand new venture and will be delving into the world of Horticulture. Having now departed from her studio space, Jenna is looking forward to a new challenge. Her shop is now closed for the foreseeable future.
